What the record says
- Product
- EAST BEAST II (2025) - Recall 26V007000
- Reason
- East Trailers, LLC (East Trailers) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Beast and Beast II trailers. An improper weld may fail, causing the rear impact guard to detach. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 223, "Rear Impact Guards" and 224, "Rear Impact Protection." A detached rear impact guard cannot mitigate the impact of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
