What the record says
- Product
- Demers Ambulances FXP174 (2025) - Recall 26V098000
- Reason
- Braun Industries, Inc. (Braun Ambulances) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Demers FXP174 ambulances. The floor may have insufficient strength to secure the seats in position during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages." Structural failure may prevent the seat from properly restraining an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
