What the record says

Product
TOYOTA BZ WOODLAND (2026) - Recall 26V512000
Reason
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2026 bZ Woodland vehicles equipped with a tow converter. An electrical short circuit may occur within the tow converter printed circuit board, which can deactivate the electronic stability control system and cause the brake lights to remain illuminated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards numbers 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems for Light Vehicles” and 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Driving with a disabled electronic stability control system or continuously illuminated brake lights can increase the risk of a crash.
