What the record says
- Product
- JAYCO MELBOURNE PRESTIGE (2027) - Recall 26V555000
- Reason
- Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2027 Entegra Qwest and Jayco Melbourne Prestige recreational vehicles. The taillight harness may have been manufactured with an incorrect resistor. The defective harness may cause the warning light to illuminate on the instrument panel display when the taillights are functioning correctly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Control and Displays." The incorrect warning light may fail to alert the driver to critical safety information or cause confusion, increasing the risk of a crash.
