What the record says
- Product
- EAST TO WEST ALTA (2026) - Recall 25V714000
- Reason
- Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Alta travel trailers. The Federal Placard label may have the incorrect axle capacity listed, causing the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) to have been miscalculated. As such these vehicles fail to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims." Referencing the incorrect GVWR and CCC may allow the vehicle to be overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.
