What the record says
- Product
- AUTOCAR XPEDITOR (2017) - Recall 25V449000
- Reason
- Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2015-2022 ACTT (Xspotter) and ACX (Xpeditor) vehicles. The air tanks have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems." Insufficient air volume can reduce brake function, extending the distance required to stop and increasing the risk of a crash.
