What the record says
- Product
- ILJIN HYSOLUS CNG TANK - Recall 25E024000
- Reason
- ILJIN Hysolus (ILJIN) is recalling certain Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) tanks. For a complete list of part numbers, please see the attached document. The pressure relief device may not fully vent, which can cause the tank to rupture. As such, these tanks fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 304, "Compressed Natural Gas Fuel Container Integrity." A ruptured fuel tank increases the risk of fire and injury.
