(Braun Ambulances) is recalling certain 2021-2026 Chief XL I, Chief XL III, 2021-2025 Express Plus I, Liberty I, 2025 Express III, Select Chief XL I, and Super Chief I emergency vehicles equipped with a Pran system. The battery isolator may fail, causing a loss of electrical systems such as interior, exterior lighting, and patient support systems. A loss of exterior lights can reduce the visibility of the vehicle to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. A loss of patient support systems can delay care, increasing the risk of injury.
