Reason
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain engine block heaters, with part number number JL3T-6A051-AB. These parts were sold as accessories for certain 2023-2026 Ford vehicles equipped with a 1.5L or 2.0L Modular Power Cylinder (MPC) engine. The engine block heater may overheat when the vehicle is parked with the block heater plugged in. An overheated engine block heater increases the risk of a fire.
