What the record says
- Product
- NEWELL P50 (2022) - Recall 25V812000
- Reason
- Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling certain 2022 P50 coaches. The pedestal mounting plate may have been improperly welded, causing the plate to separate and the seat assembly to loosen or detach. As such, these seat assemblies fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages." A loose or detached seat assembly may not restrain the occupant as intended, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
