What the record says

Product
ALTEC AM (1995) - Recall 24V881000
Reason
Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 1995-1996 AM and AN aerial devices. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. The hydraulic cylinder head gland may have been improperly manufactured, which can result in it detaching from the barrel of the cylinder while under load, leaving the lower boom unsupported. A loss of lower boom support during operation could cause the lower boom to fall, increasing the risk of injury.
