What the record says
- Product
- PORSCHE 718 CAYMAN (2024) - Recall 24V343000
- Reason
- Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2024 Boxster and Cayman vehicles. The safety clip that attaches the shift cable to the transmission may not be installed properly, which can prevent the transmission from locking in the park position when the shift lever is placed into park. A transmission that does not lock into park as intended may result in a vehicle roll away, increasing the risk of a crash.
