- SPL Parts Inc (SPL) is recalling certain Front Suspension Lower Control Arm Kits equipped with replacement bolts. The lower control arm retention bolts could become brittle and break after being tightened. A broken bolt head can become a projectile, increasing the risk of an injury. Additionally, failure of a lower control arm can result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
