- Reason
- Dana Incorporated (Dana) is recalling certain D-Series and E-Series Steer Axles, and replacement tie rod assemblies for Dana D-Series and E-Series Steer Axles. The tie rod assemblies in these steer axles contain ball studs that may have been incorrectly heat-treated, which can cause them to break, and possibly result in tie rod failure. Tie rod failure can cause a loss of vehicle steering control and increase the risk of a crash.
