What the record says
- Product
- PILOTCAR PC-6 (2023) - Recall 23V831000
- Reason
- Pilotcar EV INC (Pilotcar) is recalling certain 2021-2023 PC-2, PC-4, and PC-6 vehicles. The rearview camera and monitor were not installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 111, "Rear Visibility" and 500, "Low Speed Vehicles." The absence of a rearview camera system reduces the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
