What the record says
- Product
- ELECTRAMECCANICA SOLO G3 (2021) - Recall 22V307000
- Reason
- Electra Meccanica Vehicles Corp (ElectraMeccanica) is recalling certain 2021 Solo vehicles. In the event of a rear turn signal wire harness short-circuit, the flashing frequency of the unaffected turn signal lights would not change, failing to alert the driver that a turn signal has failed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Driving without a functional rear turn signal can increase the risk of a crash.
