- Carparts.com, Inc. (Carparts.com) is recalling certain Replacement, and Evan-Fischer Oil Filter Housings, part number RD31260001. The welded plugs inside the oil filter housing may not have a proper seal, which can result in an oil leak. An oil leak in the presence of an ignition source such as hot engine components, can increase the risk of a fire. Loss of oil can also result in the engine seizing, increasing the risk of a crash.
