What the record says
- Product
- PREVOST X3-45 COMMUTER (2021) - Recall 22V495000
- Reason
- Prevost Car (US) Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain 2021 X3-45 commuter buses. One bolt that secures the rear bench seat frame to the body of the vehicle was not installed during the manufacturing process. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages." During a crash, the rear seats could separate from the vehicle, increasing the risk of an injury.
