- General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain Autoliv Front-Driver Air Bag Modules, with part numbers 20928235 and 20928242, sold as replacement parts for certain 2011-2012 GMC and Chevrolet vehicles. The driver's air bag inflator may explode during deployment, due to a manufacturing defect. An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death.
