- Prevost Car (US) Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain alternator belts. Please see the safety recall report for a complete list of affected part numbers. In the event of the alternator front bearing seizing, the alternator belt may continue to operate, causing the bearing to overheat. An overheated alternator bearing can increase the risk of a fire.
