The Cross View Mirror is designed to only view pedestrian around stopped buses. The label warning drivers not to use the mirror to view vehicular traffic may be missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility." Without a warning label, the driver may use the altered view to see other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
