This recall includes vehicles equipped with the recalled accessory parts that were previously repaired incorrectly under recall 22E045. The trailer brake controllers may fail to apply the trailer brakes when towing a trailer equipped with an electric or electric-over-hydraulic brake system. Loss of trailer brake functionality could result in extended stopping distance, increasing the risk of a crash.
