The front side marker lights may be missing, and the passenger front side reflectors may be in the incorrect location. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Missing or incorrectly positioned lights and reflectors can reduce the trailers visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
