As such, these vehicles fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and rims - other than passenger cars." Incorrect GAWR information may cause the vehicle to become overloaded and result in tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.
