## What the record says

- **Product**: NISSAN ROGUE HYBRID (2018) - Recall 22V549000
- **Reason**: Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Rogue Hybrid vehicles. The hydraulic brake booster assembly may overheat internally, resulting in a loss of power brake assist. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems." A loss of power brake assist can extend the distance required to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

- **Recalling firm**: Nissan North America, Inc.
- **Quantity**: 5904
- **Agency-reported status**: Published safety recall
- **Source record identifier**: 216494
